BIC & Pavilion Wedding Shows

The BIC and Pavilion Wedding Shows are where A’Courts first found their love and desire for attending shows of this nature, we have continued to be a part of the Wedding shows for the past 8 years, with many more to come! We have an exhibition stand at the venue, where we offer free consultations, trials and advice. As you can imagine it is a very busy time, when planning your wedding you want everything to be perfect. We meet everyone’s individual needs and requirements.
We also prepare all the models hair for the show throughout the weekend. There are approximately 4 shows each of the 3 days with 15 or more models to prepare and style. All the models are great to work with and enjoy our creative flair when styling their hair. The dresses are stunning; it is a must for any Bride to be to attend!!
At the wedding show in February we held a competition for future brides, they had the chance of winning a new hair style and make up all done for free, and as you can imagine we had a huge amount of entries, so we decided to hold wedding evenings in the salon which also proved to be massive. So much so that we had to hold TWO!

Bournemouth School for girls (BSG) Fashion Show

We have been honoured to take part in the BSG Fashion shows for the past two years. At the Fashion show pupils from the school are selected to model outfits from the various shop outlets taking part i.e.: New Look, Marks and Spencer, Principles and many more! We then have 90 models to prepare in the 3 hours allocated ready for their debut Fashion Show! The whole of the A’Courts team take part in this event, it is a very busy time but the team take away so much from the experience. It is a highly successful event well attended by the pupils and families along with many locals who are able to attend.
Prior to the event A’Courts challenge the girls at the school to enter into the Mother and Daughter competition, pupils nominate their mothers for a makeover. Many mood boards are handed to us and we then select 3 finalists for who we create a brand new look for them! On the night of the show, the Mayor of Bournemouth chooses the overall winner. Entries to the competition are always high with both Mums and daughters thoroughly enjoying their experience. As part of the make-over Marks and Spencer kindly provide outfits to complete the transformation (which they then get to keep) They also receive brilliant prizes like our exclusive NANOMAX treatment, a health day at the Haven Hotel plus free products and services. Everyone takes so much away from this Fashion Show.
