About Helen A'Court

Helen A’Court has been at the forefront of hairdressing in Bournemouth for over 27 years and has created and styled clients hair all around the world.

Helen began her hairdressing career at the age of 14, training at Raymond’s in Bournemouth, coming out top within her field. After qualifying aged 17, Helen developed her knowledge and experience in the art and various methods of hairdressing becoming the youngest member in Raymond’s Artistic Team. Helen then spent a few years travelling and working, in New Zealand, and on cruise ships, returning to Bournemouth as part of the artistic team in a new exciting salon venture.

After a couple of years, Helen spent some time in Greece, working and
refining her Hair Dressing skills. She returned to Bournemouth when offered the opportunity of becoming Manageress of Toppers and worked closely with L’Oreal  - becoming a Specialist technician, she then travelled again for L’Oreal training and assessing all through Europe.

Helen’s approach inspired her to open her own salon in Winton, Bournemouth offering a unique service, which she felt the competitors lacked.

Helen has achieved many commendations, with her styling and artistic skills with dedication to the industry; she represented Wella, in teaching throughout the Channel Islands, and all of the UK. During Helens career her highlights have been working at Pinewood Studios, being asked to participate in wedding shows, fashion shows, major photo shoots, master colour awards, throughout Europe, Assessor for NVQ qualification and the art of Hair Extensions.

Helens creative talents and high standards have now elevated her to become
a leading face within her profession not only in Bournemouth but throughout the UK.

Helen is regularly found supporting high profile charity events, contributing to
the industry with ongoing training programmes that assist other top salons in
the country.

Helens driving passion will always be to create breathtaking styles in the
surrounds of her unique Hair Salon in Bournemouth.
